Gold has been at the heart of LCH Holding since 2009, when we acquired our first mining concession in Ghana's Ashanti belt. Today the division operates two producing mines — Kumasi Ridge in Ghana and Sierra Dorada in Peru — together with an LBMA-aligned refinery in Switzerland that processes doré from our own operations and from carefully vetted third-party producers.
We are owner-operators, not traders. Our geologists, metallurgists and plant engineers manage every stage in-house: resource modelling, mine planning, extraction, processing and refining. That vertical integration gives our customers something rare in the gold market — a fully documented chain of custody from the ore body to the finished bar.
